Mayor Vargas declared Oral Communications closed. JOINT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL CLOSED SESSION The City Council adjourned to a Closed Session to consider 1) Real Property Negotiations, Property: Taco Ready Manuel Rojo, 13547 Francisquito Avenue, pursuant to Government Code 54956.8; 2) Real Property Negotiations, Property: Sierra vista Project Area, Staubach Company, pursuant to Government Code:: 54956.8; and 3) Real Property Negotiations, Property: Stanford Company, 14635 Baldwin Park Towne Center, pursuant to Government Code 54956.8 In Closed Session the City Council gave direction to staff and real property negotiators. No action was taken. Further action would need to be taken at a future meeting. He gave an overview of Proposition of Prop 62 and Prop 218 which included 1) The status of Proposition 62; 2) The status of Proposition 218; 3) Proposition 218 changes local governance; and 4) Conclusions regarding alternatives and choices in order to meet the requirements of the law. He requested Council consideration of a special election in June and place both issues on the ballot. Mayor pro tern Muse inquired about the plan to get out the information regarding Prop 62 and Prop 218. The Study Session meeting was adjourned at 6:58 p.m. There were no 0 objections.
