A man, Baldwin Park, stated, I noticed water coming out of the pavement in the middle of the street. I called the City, the County and the Water Department. I have been told by the City to pay $5,000 to fix the sewer line. It is not even on my property. I do not think it is fair. I would appreciate anything you can do for me. Mayor LOWES asked Mr. Mousavi for a report on the situation. Mr. Walton, I would appreciate your support for Margaret Clark. Nancy Telavenega. Baldwin Park, I live in the AutoNation area along with other tenants here tonight. Our landlord has already raised our rents so his property value would go up. And he may be raising them again shortly. This has caused us stress, concern, confusion. We feel cheated. Tenants are caught in the middle. We respectfully request your assistance in remediating this rent increase via reimbursement by the City to all tenants or negotiating with our landlord for a grace period of at least six months while the tenants decide if they want to stay or not. Also, assurance that Z because we came and spoke tonight, none of us will be retaliated against in any way, shape or form.
