The CITY COUNCIL, COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY and HOUSING AND
FINANCE AUTHORITY of the City of Baldwin Park met in STUDY SESSION at the above time
and place.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmembers/Members: Marlen Garcia, Bill Van Cleave, Ricardo Pacheco, Mayor
Pro-Tem/Vice Chair Linda Gair and Mayor/Chair Manuel Lozano
Also Present: Dayle Keller, Chief Executive Officer; John Olvera, Assistant City Attorney; Rick
Forintos, Community Development Director; and Rosemary M. Ramirez, Chief Deputy City Clerk
SUBSEQUENT NEED ITEM ADDED TO AGENDA
Assistant Attorney Oivera advised the Agency/City Council that an item regarding Conference with
Legal Council Anticipated Litigation had developed after the posting of the notice of agenda.
There is an immediate need to provide a briefing to the City Council in this matter. He
recommended that this matter be added to the Closed Session portion of this agenda.
A motion was made to add the item as recommended by the attorney as follows:

CLOSED SESSION
The Council/Agency recessed to Closed Session at 5:38 p.m. and reconvened at 6:45 p.m.;

PRESENTATION
STATUS OF HOUSING AUTHORITY OPERATIONS Continued from December 5, 2001)
Lisa Baker, Interim Housing Manager presented an overview of the operations, activities and goafs
of the Housing Authority.
Pacheco motioned to recess Study Session and reopen at the end of the regular meeting.
City Council received the report, noting that direction was provided in Closed session relating to
the staffing needs of the Housing Authority.
ADJOURN
There being no other matters before the Council/Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
