HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998 064 CC RESO1998 064 CC RESO¹òw @˜‘ÇRESO 98-64 AUG 19 1998HM8 RESOLUTION 98 64 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA SETTING ASIDE CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES WHEREAS,the City of Baldwin Park, pursuant to a Final Decree of Condemnation in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, recorded on October 20,1966, as Instrument No.2947, was granted that 15 feet wide strip of property on the eastside of Rhodes Lane, legally described in Exhibit At and shown by map in Exhibit B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, ft is necessary to public convenience that the City owned property legally described in Exhibit A"" and shown by map in Exhibit B", which real property is located in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, be set aside for road purposes, for the improvement of Rhodes Lane. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The above recitals are all true and correct and are hereby incorporated herein. SECTION 2. That it is necessary to public convenience that the above described City owned property be and it is hereby set aside for road purposes for the improvement of Rhodes Lane in accordance with Section 941 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California. SECTION 3. That the City of Baldwin Park's Department of Public Works be authorized to record the certified original Resolution in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, at which time the area set aside becomes part of a public street.
