A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
ESTABLISHING A TRUST AND AGENCY FUND FOR PARK AND
RECREATION ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Baldwin Park has an established amount
of funds appropriated by the City Council, which is to be used for expenses associated with augmenting existing
Recreation Services provided to the public.
SECTION 2. That the Recreation and Community Services Department provides a variety of services to the
public as well as special events. Donations to the Park and Recreation Department or proceeds from special events,
concessions or other approved fund raising activities shall be deposited into Trust Fund 150. Under current General
Fund accounting procedures these funds are not credited back to the Recreation and Community Services Department
to enable additional recreation activities or expenditures to occur.
SECTION 3. That the authority granted for making expenditures from Fund 150 Trust Fund) shall be limited
to actual expenses that are associated with the generation of revenue, special events and the augmentation of
recreation programs or other activities as designated by the Director of Recreation and Community Services. The
Director of Recreation and Community Services or his designated representative will be responsible for the approval
of all expenditures of funds from this account. In the event that the amounts of expenditures exceed money received
there shall be no expenditures from the Trust fund until such time that adequate funds exist to continue projects as
designated above.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
