A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2001-048
APPOINTING OSCAR B. MARIN TO OFFICE NO. 1, GLORIA
GONZALEZ TO OFFICE NO. 3, AND MARGARITA R.
VARGAS TO OFFICE NO. 4
WHEREAS, the terms of office for Housing Commission Members Oscar B. Marin,
Office No. 1, Cecelia Diaz, Office No. 2, Gloria Gonzalez, Office No. 3, Margarita Vargas,
Office No. 4 and Lily Bailey, Office No. 7 will expire on June 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park is desirous of appointing
and/or reappointing members to Office Nos. 1, 3, and 4 of the Housing Commission; and
WHEREAS, appointments made to Office Nos. 1,2,3, and 4 shall be for a term of
four-years, expiring June 30, 2005, and the appointment made to Office No. 7 Tenant
Commissioner) shall be for a term of two years, expiring June 30, 2003, and
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2001, the City Council deferred the appointments to Office
Nos. 2 and 7, to subsequent meeting; and
WHEREAS, a public notice of the commission scheduled and/or unscheduled
vacancies was published in the NOW Newspaper and in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed as members of
Office Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 of the Housing Commission of the City of Baldwin Park. Such
appointee shall hold office at the pleasure of the City Council and serve for the term as follows:
Office 1 OSCAR B. MARIN for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 2 vacant_____ for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 3 GLORIA GONZALEZ for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 4 MARGARITA R. VARGAS for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 5 Sally A. Wieck for the term expiring June 30, 2003
Office 6 Marionette Savage for the term expiring June 30, 2003

Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
forward a copy said appointees and to the Housing Commission Secretary.
