A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
REAUTHORIZING THE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE
FOR THE SIERRA VISTA REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AREA.
WHEREAS, the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park have approved and adopted the Redevelopment Plan for the
Sierra Redevelopment Project, which Plan designated the Sierra Vista Redevelopment
Project Area; and
WHEREAS, Section 33385 of the California Health and Safety Code provides for
the formation of a Project Area Committee by a City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did so form a Project Area Committee for the Sierra
Vista Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33386 of the California Health and Safety
Code, the City Council is authorized to reaffirm the Project Area Committee on an
annual basis.
NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park as follows:
SECTION 1. In accordance with the Project Area Committee Bylaws, the
existing Project Area Committee for the Sierra Vista Redevelopment Project is hereby
reauthorized for a one-year period, commencing on August 1, 2001 and ending August
1,2002.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 2001.
