Home My WebLink About2001 098 CC RESO2001 098 CC RESO¹òw @˜Œ 2001 RESO 2001-098–"[Hn*RESOLUTION NO. 2001-098 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CONSENTING TO CONTINUE SUSTAINING LEVEL OF EXPENDITURES FOR TRANSPORTATION PURPOSES CONSISTENT WITH ITS AVERAGE ANNUAL EXPENDITURE INCURRED DURING FY 1996-97, FY 1997-98 AND FY 1998-99 TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF ASSEMBLY BILL AB2928 TRAFFIC CONGESTION RELIEF FUNDS WHEREAS, Chapter 91, Statutes of 2000 Assembly Bill 2928), amended by Chapter 656, Statutes of 2000 Senate Bill 1662), required the State Controller's Office SCO) to allocate $400,000,000 to cities and counties for Transportation Congestion Relief; and WHEREAS, in Fiscal Year 2000-2001, the State Controllers Office issued a check in the amount of $549,724.60 as its share of Traffic Congestion Relief Fund TCR); and WHEREAS, the City consents that TCR Funds have been deposited in City accounts designated for funds allocated for transportation purposes. The funds received will only be expended in accordance with guidelines AB2928. WHEREAS, the City consents that in order to expend TCR funds received, including any future TRF funds, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AS FOLLOWS: 1) City of Baldwin Park will sustain its level of expenditures for transportation purposes consistent with the average expenditures fro the General Fund during fiscal years 1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99 as reported to the State Controllers office pursuant to Section 2151 Streets and Highway Code. 2) The average levels of expenditures from Street & Highways Report being: General Fund expenditures for Fiscal Year 1996-97 $ 59,748 1997-98 $ 229,229 1998-99 $ 111.919 Total Three Years $ 400,896 Three-Year Average of $ 133,632 3) The above recitals are true and correct and are hereby incorporated herein.
