A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2001-092 APPOINTING RUTH
DAVILA TO OFFICE NO. 7 TENANT
COMMISSIONER) OF THE HOUSING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, On January 9, 2002, notification was received that Housing Commissioner
Barbara Wynn Office No. 7), was no longer a tenant of the Housing Authority.
WHEREAS, Section 32.21 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, states, Commissioners
of Office No. 6 and 7 shall be persons who are tenants of the authority" and in accordance with
the code, Ms. Wynn no longer qualified to be a commissioner of the Housing Authority.
WHEREAS, a Public Notice of vacancy was posted on January 23, 2002, and published
in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune on January 31, 2002; and since the vacancy for this position
requires that the individual be a tenant of the Housing Authority, said vacancy was not
published in the NOW.
WHEREAS, on January 23, 2002, staff mailed 216 notices to Housing Authority tenants
with an application deadline of Tuesday, February 19, 2002.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park is desirous of appointing a
member to Office No. 7, of the Housing Commission for the un-expired term through June 30,
2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CjTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDIWN PARK
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following named individual is hereby appointed to office No. 7 of the
Housing Commission of the City of Baldwin Park and shall hold office at the pleasure of the
City Council and serve for the un-expired term as follows:
Office 1 Oscar B. Marin for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 2 Ana Lujan for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 3 Gloria Gonzalez for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 4 Margarita R. Vargas for the term expiring June 30, 2005
Office 5 Sally A. Wieck for the term expiring June 30, 2003
Office 6 Marionette Savage for the term expiring June 30, 2003

Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and forward
a copy to said appointee and to the Housing Commission Secretary.
