AN ORDINANCE OF TIM CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
AMENDING SECTION 9100.2 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
CHANGING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK. RE; A. W. COLE, et al, CASE NO. 7.
The CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 9700.2 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code adopted
September 1956, is amended by amending the comprehensive zoning map as
shown on the map attached hereto and a variance is granted for the following
uses and upon the following conditions.
Section 2. a) The premises as shown on the attached map are hereby
granted a variance in Zone from A-1 to C-1.
b) The premises, as shown on the attached map and hereby
granted a variance for C-1 uses, are granted said variance subject to the
following conditions:
1. Change of Zone shall apply to all four corners of the intersection
of Holt Avenue and Puente Avenue.
2. Curbs and gutters shall be instal led according to City specifi-
cations upon the subject property wherein the change to C-1 uses
is granted.
3. Upon the installation of curbs and gutters the existing pavement
shall be hooked up in conformity with City specifications for
like streets as determined by the City Engineer.
4. Sidewalks shall be installed upon all frontages. Location of said
sidewalks shall be determined by the City Engineer to afford the
greatest possible safety for pedestrians.
5. Wherever the subject C-1 property shall adjoin residential property
there shall be erected a solid six 6) foot masonry wall in such
manner as to prevent access to the said residential property across
a real property line. Said wall shall not exceed four 4.) feet in
height in front from the setback line to the front property line.
6. All flood lights, or other lighting, shall be installed to deflect
away from adjoining residential property and shall be so constructed
as not to substantially illuminate adjoining residential property.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of October 1956.

Council held on the 16th day of October, 1956, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Dustin, Littlejohn, Scovotti and Bloxham
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
ABSTAINING: Councilman Cole
