AN ORDINANCE OF T[1E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING SECTION
9100.2 OF 11113- BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
CHANGING THE OFFICIAL COMPREI-IENSI VE ZONING
MAP OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, GRANTING
A VARIANCE FOR CONDITIONAL M-l USES, CASE
NO. 20, FRED J. MEYER.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 9100.2 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code,
adopted on the 6th day of September, 1956, is amended by amending the
comprehensive zoning map, as shown on the Map attached hereto.
Section 2. a) The premises as shown on the attached Map are
hereby granted a variance in zone from A-1 for the following uses:
1. Office building, warehouse and storage, building materials
storage yard, cabinet and woodworking shop.
b) The Premises as shown on the attached Map are
hereby granted a variance subject to the following conditions:
1. That any parcel abutting residential areas shall be
separated from said areas by a solid fence six feet 6') in height,
and said fence shall not be higher than four feet 4t) from front
property line to the setback line of residence.
2. 1' at concrete curb and gutter be installed along frontage
of property on Virginia Avenue according to City specifications;
that in lieu of said installation, and to guarantee the same, money
shall be deposited with the City of Baldwin Park equal to the cost
thereof; said amount to be estimated by the City Engineer.
Section 3. If any section, sub-section, phrase or portion of
this Ordinance shall. be deemed illegal, then the whole of said Ordinance
shall be deemed illegal, and the same shall fail and have no effect.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance, and cause the same to be published or posted in the manrn r required
by law, and this ordinance shall take effect thirty 30) days after its
adoption.
