HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 043ORD 043ê79wV ×Pí€ ORDINANCE No. 4.3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION 9100.2 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, CHANGING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE ZDNING MAP OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CASE NO. 65, CYRIL H. SPURGIN THE CITY COUNCIL O F THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section l. Section 9100.2 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, adopted on the 6th day of September, 1956, is amended by amending the comprehensive zoning map, as shown on the Map attached hereto. Section 2. That the premises in the C-1 Section, described as Parcel No. 1 and Parcel No. 2, as shown on the Map attached hereto, are each, subject to the following conditions precedent, hereby classified as C-1: a) Parcel No. 1: Change of zone from A-1 to C-1 uses subject to the following conditions: 1) That an area ten feet 10') in width and One hundred fifty feet 150•) in length along the northwesterly frontage of property on Puente Avenue be deeded to the City of Baldwin Park for Street and Highway purposes. 2) That the extreme easterly one foot 1') in width and one hundred fifty feet 1501) in length of Parcel No. 1 be deeded in fee to the City of Baldwin Park. 3) That curb and gutter be installed along entire two hundred twenty-eight and 68/100 ft. 228.68) frontage of property on East Garvey Avenue. 4) That sidewalks be installed along entire frontage on East Garvey and Puente Avenue. Sidewalks not to be depressed at driveways. 5) That a six foot 6') masonry wall be constructed along the nortbwast property line and extending toward rear of property for a distance of approximately two hundred one and sixty-eight one hundredths feet 201.68), excluding ten 10') feet of Puente Street to be deeded for future street and highway purposes, separating said property from residential property. Said fence to be not over four feet 4•) in height from front property line to the setback line. 6) That the easterly twenty-seven 27•) feet in width and one hundred fifty feet 150`) in length of Parcel No. 1 be improved with ORD 043ê79wV ×Pí€ ORD. NO. 43 Curb and gutter and paving according to City specifications and deeded to the City of Baldwin Park for street and highway purposes. Said street to be located approximately two hundred one and sixty-eight hundredths feet 201,68*) southeast of Puente Avenue paralleling same), and going in a northeasterly direction, for a distance of one hundred fifty feet 150'), b) Parat No, 2: Change of zone from A-1 to C-1 uses subject to the following conditions: 1) That a one-half street on the northwesterly two hundred and two feet 202*) of Parcel No. 2, twenty-seven 27t) feet in width and two hundred two 202*) feet in length be improved with paving, curb and gutter, and installed according to City specifications, and be deeded to the City of Baldwin Park for street and highway purposes, 2) That a one foot 1*) strip be granted in fee to the City of Baldwin Park along the northwesterly two hundred two 202*) feet of Parcel No. 2, 3) That a strip of land one foot 1*) in width along the northerly 67,32 feet of Parcel No, 2 be deeded in fee to the City of Baldwin Park. 4) That the westerly twenty--seven 27*) feet in width and one hundred fifty 150*) feet in length of Parcel No. 2 be improved with curb, gutter and paving, according to City specifications, and deeded to the City of Baldwin Park for street and highway purposes. Said area to be located approximately two hundred twenty-eight and sixty-eight one hundredths feet 228.68*) southeast of Puente Avenue paralleling same) and going in a northeasterly direction, for a distance of one hundred fifty 150•) feet, 5) That curb and gutter be installed along entire frontage of property on East Garvey Avenue. 6) That sidewalks be installed along the entire frontage of the property on East Garvey Avenue, No depressed sidewalks at driveways. Sect,-' in 3, If any section, sub-section, phrase or portion of this ordinance shall be deemed illegal, then the whole of the said ordinance shall be deemed illegal, and the same shall fail and have no effect in its entirety. Section 4, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause the sane to be published or posted in the manner required by law, and this ordinance shall take effect thirty 30) days after its adoption, PASSED AND APPROVED this day of 1957.
