AN ORDINANCE OF WE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
SECTIONS THERETO PERTAINING TO BUILDING
REGULATIONS AND AMENDING SECTION 8112 THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: ADDING SECTION TO MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 8110.1 is added to the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code to read as follows:
Section 8110.1
Section 303(a), Table No. 3-A of said Uniform
Building Code is hereby amended to read:
TABLE NO. 3-A
BUILDING PERMIT FEES.
TOTAL VALUATION FEE
Less than $20.00 No Fee
$20.00 to and including $100.00 $ 1.00
More than $100.00 to and including
W0.00 2.00
More than $400.00 to and including
$700.00 4.00
More than $700.00 to and including
$1000.00 6.00
Each additional $1000.00 or fraction,
to and including $25,000.00 2.50
Each additional $1000.00 or fraction,
to and including $50,000.00 2.00
Each additional $1000.00 or fraction,
to and including $100,000.00 1.00
Each additional $1000.00 or fraction,
exceeding $100,000.00 50"
SECTION 2: AMENDING SECTION 8112 OF THE MUNICIIYAL
Section 8112 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 8112.
Section 305 of said Uniform Building Code is
Amended by adding a third paragraph to Subsection
b) thereof to read:
Before commencing his duties, the Special
Inspector shall be examined and shall obtain a
Certificate of Registration from the Building

Official. Applications shall be made in writing
and shall be accompanied by a fee of ten dollars.
A separate application and a separate fee shall
be required for each type of work. Certificates
of Registration for Special Inspectors shall be
valid for one year or fraction thereof, shall ex-
pire June 30, and must be renewed annually by payment
of a renewal fee of two dollars."
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be publish-
ed or posted in the manner required by law, and this Ordinance
shall take effect thirty days after its adoption.
