AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 7100.1 AND SECTION 7103.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE PERTAINING TO STREET REGULATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 7100.1 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 7100.1: City Engineer.
City Engineer' shall mean the person appoint-
ed by the City of Baldwin Park to perform the duties
of Engineer for the City.
SECTION 2: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 7103.1 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 7103.1. Same. Exception.
If this State or any political subdivision
thereof files with the City Engineer a written
guarantee of payment of all costs for which it may
become liable to the City, then neither any issuance
fee nor deposit shall be required. All other persons,
except the United States, shall make whatever deposit
is required by this Article and in addition thereto,
ay an issuance fee of $2.00 for moving permits and
1.50 for other permits. Provided, however, that
any person who has been issued a business license
pursuant to the providons of this Code and who has
an established place of business within the City of
Baldwin Park shall not be required to pay the issu-
ance fee."
SECTION 3: PUBLISHING.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published or posted in the
manner required by law, and this Ordinance shall take effect
thirty days after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Baldwin Park, held this 19th day of
August 1957, by the following called vote:

I, ELMER COOK, being the duly elected and qualified Clerk of
the City of Baldwin Park, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
was introduced at the meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day
of August, 1957, and the same was duly adopted at the regular meeting
of the City Council held on the 19th day of August, 1957.
