CIL OF 7HR CITY OF BALDMN PWK DOW ORDAIN AS FOLLONS:
1: The City Council of the City of Balduin Part finds that
different tax rates are not required for different portions of the City,
and that s uniform tax rate shall be levied for all portions of the City,
t'li~+i 2: The City Council finds mad determines that, to defray
expenses of thhe operation of the City for fte fiscal year, July 1, 1957,
to June 30, 1958, it shall be necessary for $37,500,00 to be raised for the
general fund,
SHCT1ON 3: The City Council hereby fixes the tax rate as Fifteen
Cents 15 upon each One Hundred $100,00) Dollars assessed value of the
property in the City of Baldwin Park, as assessed and equalized for the
purpose of raising the sum of $37,800.00 for the general fend,
SHCTMON 4s
The City Ceuacil finds and determines that the rate
herein fixed be sufficient to raise the amount necessary, for the
operation of the fund, as herein designated, and the expenses of collection,
SECTSOM 5: This Ordinance, iaadmuch as it provides for a tan levy
for the usnsl-cnrrmt expenses of the City, shall, under the provisions of
Section l of Article 4 of the Constitution, and Section 36937 of the Oovernmest
Code, take effect immediately, The City Clerk is directed to transmit
immediately to the County Auditor a statement of the rate herein fixed.
