AN ORDINANCE OF TFE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE
FOR THE LOCATION OF THE CITY HALL EFFECTIVE
OCTOBER 1, 1957.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: A new section is hereby added to the Municipal Code
of the City o Ba,ldwin Park as follows:
Section 2601.1. Cit~ Hall. Rooms 200, 201, 202, 203 and 204
in that certain building re- erred to as 4027 North Maine Avenue, Baldwin
Park, Los Angeles County, California, is designated as the City Hall of
the City of Baldwin Park, effective October 1, 1957."
SECTION 2: UFGENCY CLAUSE.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36937 of the Government
Code this Ordinance shall take effect on October l, 1957 for the reason
that on said date it will be necessary for the City Administrative
Offices to move from their present quarters due to the termination of
the existing lease.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 1957, by the
following called vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bishop, Cole, Holmes, Stephens and Littlejohn
