CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRIMRY, DESIGNATED
ANNEXATION NO. 3" TL) 1H8 CITY OF BALDWIN

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Ct1EkX:IL OF CITY OF BALDM PA1tK:
MMUBAS, on the 5th day of August, 1957, the Council of the
City of Baldwin Park did pass and adopt Resolution No. 57-66 giving notice
of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of
Baldwin Park, said territory being therein designated as Annexation No. 3",
and said action being taken by the Council of said City as the legislative
body of the City pursuant to its own motion therefor, said Resolution
describing the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to said
City; and
idiBRBAS, said Resolution No. 57-66 did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the said Council of said City would hear
protests made by any person owning real property within the territory
proposed to be annexed, the time of said'hearing being not less than fifteen
nor more than forty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
NHMUAS, on the 7th day of October, 1957, at the hour of 8:00
o•clock P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hail of the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, said time and place being
the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 57-66 for hearing
protests to the said annexation, the said Council of said City did hear and
pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation and did determine
that no protests to said proposed annexation have been made by the owners of
one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by
the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private owners of one-
half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by
said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Baldwin Park,
and is uninhabited territory in the County of Los Angeles;
NOW, the said Council of the City of Baldwin Park does

hereby approve the annexation of said territory, hereinafter described,
to the City of Baldwin Park and does hereby further ordain that the said
territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Baldwin Park.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Baldwin Park is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County
of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beg at the NE corner of E. Francisquito and N. Big Dalton Ave. thence
Northeasterly along the Southerly line of N. Big Dalton Ave. a dist of
695.42• more or less to the present boundary line of the City of Baldwin
Park. Thence following along said City boundary line Southerly and
Easterly to a point where said line intersects the center line of Puente
Avenue, being a street 80• in width. Thence continuing along the present
City boundary line southerly and easterly to a point where the northwesterly
line of Tract No. 21521, if extended easterly, would intersect the City
Boundary line. Thence along the said Northwesterly boundary line of
Tract No. 21521 to where the same intersects the Northeasterly line of Bast
Francisquito Avenue, being a street 60• in width. Thence Northwesterly
along the Northeasterly line of E. Francisquito to the Northeasterly corner
of E. Francisquito and N. Big Dalton Ave., which is the pointcf beginning.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1957, by the

meeting of the City Council held on the. 21st day of October, 1957.

ELDER COOK, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
That I am the duly elected and qualified City Clerk of the
City of Baldwin Park; that on the 29th day of October 1957,
I caused to be posted in three conspicuous places a copy of Ordinance
No.~ 65 as required by law, and the B d1' Park Municipal Code.
