AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, AHENDING
SECTION 4196 0 F THE A:UN IC IPAL CODE, PERTAINING
TO RABIES VACCINATION O F DOGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF ME CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS
SECTION 1: MENDING hfM ICIPAL CODE.
Section 4196 o£ the Baldwin Park blunicipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
4196. Every person keeping, harboring or having any dog over
four months of age in the City of Baldwin Park shall cause such do-
to be vaccinated with rabies vaccine by a person licensed by the
State of California to practice veterinary medicine, on or before the
last of the following dates:
a) Two years after vaccination with chick embryo vaccine.
b) One year after vaccination with tissue phenolized vaccine.
c) Fifteen days after first acquiring such dog.
d) Fifteen days after the effective date of this section.
e) Fifteen days after bringing such dog into the City of
Baldwin Park.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January 1958
by the following called vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bishop, Cole, Holmes, Stephens and
Littlejohn
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
