AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 6145 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
THE BUSINESS LICENSE FEE TO BE CHARGED REAL ESTATE
BROKERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
A5 FOLLOWS
SECT 1: AMENDING MUNICIP CODE.
Section 6145 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 6145. BROKER, REAL ESTATE.,
For each office engaged in a real estate broker
business, the sum of $24.00 per annum or fraction
thereof. If any office contains more than one real
estate broker who are not in the same firm, partner-
ship or association, but who are working independently
of each other, then each real estate broker shall pay
a fee of $24,00 per annum or traction thereof, other-
wise, the office shall be required to obtain only one
license."
SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36937 of the
Government Code, this ordinance shall take effect immediately,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February
1958, by the following called vote;
AYES: COUNCILMEN Bishop, Cole, Ho1mes, Stephens and
Littlejohn.
NOES: COUNC I LMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None

1958, and the same was duly adopted at the regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 1 th day of
February 1958.
