AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS THERETO
WHICH PERTAIN TO THE AMOUNT OF THE BONDS REQUIRED OF
VARIOUS OFFICIALS OF THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 2923 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is amended
to read as follows:
2923. Bond.
The Director of Finance shall furnish to the
City of Baldwin Park a corporate surety bond to be ap-
proved and paid for by the City Council, in the sum of
$25,000.00, and shall be conditioned upon the faithful
performance of the duties imposed on the Director of
Finance as prescribed by this Ordinance. The bond fee
shall be a proper charge against such funds as the City
Council shall designate."
SECTION 2: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 2906 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is here-
by repealed.
SECTION 3: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
Section 2607 is added to Chapter 6 of Article II of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to read as follows:
2607. Blanket Bond.
The Chief Administrative Officer is directed
to procure for the City a bond in the amount of $10,000.00
which shall cover all the employees and officials of the
City except the Mayor, Councilmen, City Clerk, City

Treasurer, and Director of Finance. The bond shall
be for the purpose of insuring to the City the honesty
of the City employees and officials."
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March 1958,
by the following called vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bishop, Cole, Holmes, Stephens and
Littlejohn
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None

I, ELMER COOK,being the duly elected and qualified Clerk
of the City of Baldwin Park, hereby certify that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 17th day of February 1958, and the same
was duly adopted at the regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 3rd day of March 1958.
