AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF B&LDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 6106.1, WHICH
SECTION PROVIDES FOR AN EXEMPTION TO THE BUSINESS
LICENSE REGULATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1: Amending Municipal Code.
Section 6106.1 is added to Chapter 1 of Article 6 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, which section shall read as follows:
SECTION 6106,1: xxcEPTION:
The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to sales
of edible agricultural or poultry products sold or produced, which
have not been processed in any way, other than washing, which
sales are made from residences or other structures by the owners
or tenants thereof, or members of their immediate families,
where such residences or other structures are not designed, con-
structed or altered so as to display the edible agricultural or
poultry products to be sold, or where such structures are
temporary and without sides of any kind, and such residences or
other structures are located on the property on which such
edible agricultural or poultry products are raised, grown or
produced, whether such sales are advertised by signs or not."
SECTION 2: Effective Date of Ordinance.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36937 of the Government
Code of the State of California, this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately as it is a revenue ordinance.
