AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL r`
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMEND-
ING SECTION 6131 OF THE BALDWIN w'?
PARK MUNICIPAL CODE TO LICENSE
RECREATION OR AMUSEMENT CENTERS.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 6131 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is amended by adding two new subsections
thereto, designated subsections d) and e), to read as
follows:
d) Amusement or Recreation Center. For
every amusement or recreation center in w ich twenty-
five 25) or more machines or devices of the type
mentioned in subdivisions 2, 3 and 4 of subsection
c) of this section are operated, a fee of $200.00
per annum for the first twenty-five 25) such machines
or devices and $5.00 per annum for each such machine
or device over twenty-five 25), said fee to be in
lieu of the fees otherwise prescribed for such machines
or devices; provided, however, that this provision
shall not apply to any amusement or recreation center
in which alcoholic beverages are sold or served.

even though such machines or-devices. are operated in
conjunction with another business and Section 6105.1
of this chapter shall not apply.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be pub-
lished or posted in the manner required by law. This
ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date
of its adoption.
