AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE FIREWORKS PROVISIONS
i'
OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE
FOR LICENSING PERMITTEES AND MAKING IT THE DUTY
OF THE CITY ENGINEER TO ENFORCE CLEAN-UP OF THE
PREMISES.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That Sections 3100.1203 and 3100.1208 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code are amended to read as follows:
3100.1203. Application for Permit. Applicants for a
permit to do any of the acts mentioned in Section
3100.1202 shall apply in writing to the Tax Collector
at least thirty 30) days before the act is to commence.
3100.1208. Permittee Must Obtain License.
a) if the permit is granted, the City Clerk
shall. cause the application to be approved and re-
turned to the Tax Collector.
b) Every person holding a permit for the re-
tail sale or public display of fireworks under the
provisions of this part shall pay the City a license
fee of Ten Dollars $10.00) per day for each day the
permit is to be in effect,_sach fee to be paid as
provided in Chapter I, Article V1, of this Code,
except that there shall be no exemption thereof un-
less payment is waived by the City Council.
Section 2. That subsection i) of Section 3100.1212 of said
Municipal Code Is amended to read as follows:
i) The premises occupied shall be cleared of
all structures and debris within seventy-two 721
hours after midnight of July 4th, to the satisfac-
tion of the City Engineer, under penalty of for-
feiture of the cash deposit to defray cost of
clean-up or removal.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published or posted in the manner re-
quired by law. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the
date of its adoption.
