ORDINANCE NO. 115
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION 2904 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE TO CLARIFY THE
POWER OF THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER t
OVER APPOINTMENTS.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does or-
dain as follows:

Section 1. That the second paragraph of subsection a),
Section 2904, of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is amended to
read as follows:
Appoint, and when necessary for the good of the City,
suspend or remove all other officers and employees of the
City, except the City Clerk, City Treasurer, City Attorney,
and officers or employees whose appointment is otherwise
provided by law. He may delegate to any department head
or officer appointed by him the authority to appoint, sus-
pend, or remove subordinates serving under such department
head or officer."
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published
or posted in the manner required by law. This ordinance shall
take effect thirty days after the date of its adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July 1959.
