AN ORDINANCE of THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO CHANGE
THE ZONING OF PROPERTY ON NORTH MAINE
AVENUE NEAR BALDWIN AVENUE FROM R-1
To R-3, ZONE CASE No. Z-69.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the following described real
property, situated on North Maine Avenue near Baldwin
Avenue, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los An-
geles, State of California, namely:
Lot commencing South 89 degrees 56 minutes
30 seconds East 30 feet and South 0 degrees 34
minutes 30 seconds West 157.5 feet from the
northwest corner of the southwest one-quarter
of the northwest one-quarter of Section 8, Town-
ship I South, Range 10 West; thence southerly
on the easterly line of Maine Avenue 50 feet,
with a uniform depth of 258 feet South 89 degrees
56 minutes 30 seconds East. Part of the North
one-half of the Southwest one-quarter of the
Northwest one-quarter of Section 8, Township I
South, Range 10 West.
EXCEPTING the Easterly 140 feet of the
Westerly 150 feet therefrom,
is rezoned from R-1 to R-3.
Section 2. That the zoning map adopted by Section
9100.104 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code and designated
as Section 9100.2 of said Code is amended as shown by the
following Map:

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be posted,
in the manner required by law. This ordinance shall take
effect thirty days after the date of its adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of January
1959.
