AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO CHANGE
THE ZONING OF PROPERTY ON BESS AVENUE
NEAR GARVEY AVENUE FROM R-1 TO C-2,
ZONE CASE NO. Z-70.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the following described real
property, situated at 12954 Bess Avenue near Garvey Avenue,
in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, namely:
Lot commencing at the Northeast corner of
Lot 1; thence Southwesterly on the northwesterly
line of said Lot 55 feet to the Northwesterly
corner thereof; thence Southerly on the Westerly
line of said Lot 120 feet; thence Easterly at
right angles to the Westerly line in a straight
line to the Southwesterly line of Bess Avenue;
thence Northwesterly thereon to the point of be-
ginning, being Part of Lot 1, Block A, Tract
No. 10953
is rezoned from R-1 to C-2.
Section 2. That the zoning map adopted by Section
9100.104 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code and designated
as Section 910Q42 of said Code is amended as shown by the
following Map:

Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be pub-
lished or posted in the manner required by law. This
ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date of
its adoption.

January 1960
