AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
TO REQUIRE A LOT SPLIT OR SUBDIVISION UNDER
THE STATE SUBDIVISION MAP ACT BEFORE ADDITIONAL
RESIDENCES CAN BE PLACED ON R-I AND A-1 PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That a new section, designated Section
9100.727.5, is added to the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to
read as follows:
Section 9100.727.5. Lot Solit,„_etc. No lot or
parcel of land in Zones R-I and A-I shall be used to
accommodate more than one single family residence, un-
less the additional residences are each located on a
portion of the lot or parcel of land subdivided pur-
suant to the lot split provisions of this Code or the
State Subdivision Map Act.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published as re-
quired by law. This ordinance shall become effective thirty
days after the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk this 21st day of March- 1960.

hearing as required by Section 65804 of the Government Code of the
State of California, was duly and regularly introduced at a
meeting of the City Council on the 21st day of March" 1960, and
thereafter was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 1960, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN HOLMES, BISHOP LITTLEJOHN WILSON AND MAYOR COLE
NOES: COUNCILMEN NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN NONE
