AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF

MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING SECTION
4231.1 TFDOWO TO PROVIDE FOR DUMP..

The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as followst
Section l, That Section 4231 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is amended by deleting therefrom the word water"
and the comma which follows immediately thereafter.
Section 2. That a new section., designated Section
4231.1 is added to said Municipal Code., to read as followst
4231.1 DUMPING WATER IN STREET. No person shall
negligently., wilfully, or maliciously discharge, throws
or deposit water upon any street in such manner as to
obstruct or damage the street., or create a nuisance
or hazard to persons or property., or prevent or inter-
fere with the free and uninterrupted, use of the street
by the public; provided., however., that the City En-
gineer, may grant and issue permits for the temporary
discharge of water upon the street., upon such terms
and conditions as he may deem necessary to protect the
City and public from damage and injury.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be pub.
fished or posted in the manner required by law. This ordinance
shall take effect thirty days after the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor.,
and attested by the City Clerk this 4th day of
Aori 1960.
