ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN.PARK AMENDING
SECTION X110 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE
ISSUANCE-OF BUILDING PERMITS.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 8110 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
8110. Section 302 of said Uniform Building Code
is amended by deleting the third paragraph of subsec-
tion a) thereof, and by adding four exceptions to
said subsection a) to read:
EXCEPTIONS:
1. A permit shall not be issued for a Group A,
B, C, D, H or I occupancy or for a trailer park
in an area which is subject to flood hazard by
reason of inundation, overflow or erosion, and
is so determined to be by the Building Official,
unless such hazard is eliminated to the satis-
faction of the Building Official by providing
adequate drainage facilities, by protective walls,
by suitable fill, by raising the floor level of
the building, by a combination of these methods
or by other means.
2. A permit shall not be issued for work to be
performed on property within an area which is
unsafe for such work and the Building Official so
determines, due to hazard from landslide, settle-
ment or slippage, and the Building Official finds
that there is no way in which the structure can
be erected on such land so that it will be safe.
3. A permit shall not be issued for work to be
performed on property that has been subdivided
or split in violation of the City's lot split ordi-
nance or contrary to the requirements of the State
Subdivision Map Act.
4. A permit shall not be issued for work that
will violate any of the City's zoning regulations.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be pub-
lished or posted in the manner required by law. This ordi-

adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk this 4th day
of April 1960.
