Los Angeles adopted a resolution on June 2E, 1960, declaring
Francisquito Avenue, between Van Wig Avenue and approximately
500 feet easterly of Puente Avenue, and Puente Avenue between
approximately 700 feet northerly and 700 feet southerly, to be
County highways and declaring the intention of the County to
improve the same; and
NfiEREAS, the consent of the City of Baldwin Park is re-
quired pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways Code,
NOW, UIEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does ordain as follows:
SECTION l. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park consents to the inclusion of said portions of
Francisquito and Puente Avenues as a part of the system of highways
of the County of Los Angeles and to the improvement thereof by
said County in the manner proposed by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause it to be published as required by
law, and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles. This ordinance shall
become effective thirty days after the date of its adoption.
ADOPT by the City Council, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk, this
