ORDINANCE NO. 170
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADD-
ING SECTION 6189 TO THE BALDWIN
PARK MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE
LICENSEES TO COMPLY WITH LAWS
APPLICABLE TO CONDUCT OF BUSINESS
OR ACTIVITY FOR WHICH LICENSE IS
ISSUED.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 1 of Article VI of the Bald-
win Park Municipal Code is amended by adding a new section
thereto, numbered Section 6189, to read as follows:
6189. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS. No person may en-
gage in any business or which a license is required
in this Code without complying with all laws, ordi-
nances and regulations applicable to the conduct
of such business and the place where such business
is to be conducted.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be pub-
lished or posted in the manner required by law. This
ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date
of its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed. by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk this 5th
day of December 1960.
