AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEX-
ATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 12'T0 THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BUDWIN PARK
WHERW, on the 6th day of h1a.rch, 1961, the City Council
of the City of Baldwin Park did pass and adopt Resolution No. 61..27
giving notice of the proposal to annex uninhabited territory to the
City of Baldwin Park, said territory being therein designated as
Annexation No. 12", said Resolution describing the boundaries of
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 61-27 did contain a notice
of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City
would hear, protests made by any person owning real property within
the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing
being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date
of passage of said Resolution; and
tnkiEREAS, on the 17th day of April, 1961, at the hour of
8;00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, said
time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolu-
tion No. 61-27 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the
said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the
proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been
made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately
owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equal-
ized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the
value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as
determined by said legislative body; and
WEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of
Baldwin Park and is uninhabited territory in the County of Los
Angeles.

ORD 179ê79wV ×P è ¿ NOW, SORE, the said City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby approve the annexation of the territory
hereinafter described to the City of Baldwin Park, and does hereby
further ordain that the said. territory be and is hereby annexed to
the City of Baldwin Park.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City
of Baldwin Park is herein approved, is all that territory situate
in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southwesterly
boundary of Tract No. 14056 as shown on map recorded in
Book 300 page 24 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder
of the County of Los Angeles, with the northerly line of
that certain parcel of land described as Parcel 153, in
an action entitled Los Angeles County Flood Control
District vs Etta Gray et a1, filed as Case No. 625315 of
the Superior Court of the State of California in and for
the County of Los Angeles, Notice of Lis Pendens of which
was recorded as Instrument No. 331.3 on October 21, 1955,
in Book 49299 page 436,of official Records, in the office
of said Recorder, said intersection being a point in the
southwesterly boundary of the City of Baldwin Park as same
existed on January 31, 1961, for the purpose of this de-
scription said northerly line bears S 820 021 32" W;
thence S 820 021 32" W along said northerly line-and its
westerly prolongation to a line which bears N 510 171 10"
W from said westerly prolongation and which passes through
a point in a line parallel with and 20 feet northwesterly,
measured at right angles, from the northwesterly line of
Lot 77 said tract No. 14056, said point being distant
southwesterly along said parallel line 465.00 feet from
the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line
of said Lot 77; thence N 510 171 10" W to said point in
said parallel line; thence N. 380 451 25" E along said
parallel line 50 feet; thence N 510 171 lOn W to the
northwesterly line of that certain parcel of land de-
scribed in deed to Orlando A. Vanselow et ux, recorded
in Book 20963 page 308 of said Official Records; thence
northeasterly along last mentioned northwesterly line to
the most westerly corner of that certain parcel of land
described in deed to Ralph L. Angelo et ux, recorded in
Book 55743, page 251 of said Official Records; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly line of last men-
tioned center parcel of land to a point in the south-
westerly boundary of Tract No. 19500, as shown on map
recorded in Book 532 pages 39 to 43 inclusive, of said
Maps; thence southeasterly along last mentioned south-
westerly boundary to the intersection of the center-line
of Frazier street, 60 feet wide, as said center-line is
shown on map of said Tract No. 19500; thence northeasterly
along said center-line to said northwesterly prolongation;
thence southeasterly along said northwesterly prolongation

same existed on said date; thence southeasterly
along last mentioned boundary to the point of
beginning.
ADOPTFA by the City Council, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk this 24th day of April 1961.
