AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
TO CHANGE THE ZONING OF PROPERTY BETWEEN OLIVE
STREET AND NUBIA STREET FROM A-1 TO R-1, ZONE
CHANGE CASE NO. Z-91.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following described real property,
situated between Olive Street and Nubia Street in the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, namely:
That portion of the northwest quarter of Section 8,
Township 1 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian which lies within the following described
boundaries:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Tract No. 24620
as shown on map recorded in Book 638, pages 55 and 56,
of Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
Los Angeles; thence westerly along the most southerly
line of said Tract No. 24620 and its westerly prolonga-
tion to the westerly line of the southeast quarter of
the northwest quarter of said Section 8; thence northerly
along said westerly line and its northerly prolongation
to the northerly line of Lot 29, Tract No. 6706 as shown
on map recorded in Book 113, pages 25 and 26, of said Maps;
thence easterly along said northerly line and its easterly
prolongation to the easterly line of said Tract No. 8706;
thence southerly along said easterly line to the north-
westerly corner of Lot 22, Tract No. 5731 as shown on map
recorded in Book 82, page 57, of said Maps; thence easterly
along the northerly line of said Lot 22 to the northeasterly
corner of said Lot 22; thence southerly along the easterly
line of said Lot 22, and the easterly line of Lot 36, said
Tract No. 5731 to the beginning of a curve concave to the
northwest, having a radius of 15 feet tangent to last men-
tioned easterly line and tangent to a line parallel with
and 10 feet northerly measured at right angles from the
southerly line of said Lot 36; thence westerly along said
parallel line to the westerly line of said Lot 36; thence
southerly along last mentioned westerly line and its southerly
prolongation to the northerly line of said Tract No. 24620;
thence easterly along last mentioned northerly line to the
easterly line of said Tract No. 24620; thence southerly along
last mentioned easterly line to the point of beginning.
is rezoned from A-1 to R-1.
SECTION 2. That the zoning map adopted by Section 9100.104
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code and designated as Section 9100.2
of said Code is amended as shown by the following map:

ORD 182ê79wV ×P è Î SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause the same to be published or posted in
the manner required by law. This ordinance shall take effect thirty
days after the date of its adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of June 1961.
