AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK TO AMEND
SECTION 4263 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNI-
CIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO VENDORS WITHIN
THE CITY: DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF
TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Baldwin Park
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 4263 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is amended to read:
4263. VENDORS. It is unlawful to sell, offer
for sale, or exhibit for sale goods, food or
merchandise on any public property, street,
highway, road, alley or sidewalk within the
City, without a permit from the City Council.
No permit issued by the City Council shall be
valid for a period longer than ten days nor
shall said permit be renewable more than once
within six months from the date of the first
issuance for which renewal is requested.
The City Council by ordinance or resolution
may establish fees for the issuance of such
permits.
Section 2. This ordinance is passed as an emergency
measure, and the Council does, by the vote by which this
ordinance is passed, hereby declare that an emergency exists
which makes it imperative that this ordinance should become
effective forthwith in order that the public health, welfare,
and safety might more effectively be provided for.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk this 19th day of March 1962.

THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO CHANGE
THE ZONING OF PROPERTY AT 3464, 3510,
3516 AND 3538 NORTH MAINE AVENUE FRCkI
A-1 TO R-3' ZONE CASE NO. Z-100.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. That the following described real property
situated at 3464, 3510, 3516 and 3538 North Maine Avenue,, in the
City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California
namely:
That portion of the Rancho-La Puente., in the City of
Baldwin Park, State of Californiayas shown on map
recorded in Book 1, pages 43~ 44, of Patents, in
the office of the Recorder.df said county, within
the following describeOr Soundaries:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Tract No.
8497, as shown on map, recorded in Book 132; page 46, of
Maps in the office of said Recorder; thence south-
westerly along the southwesterly prolongation of the
southeasterly line of said Tract to a line parallel
with and 455 feet southwesterly, measured at right
angles, from the southwesterly line of said tract;
thence northwesterly'along-_said parallel line to the
southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line
of Maine Avenue, 60 feet wide, as shown on said tract;
thence northeasterly along last mentioned. southwest-
erly prolongation to said southwestetly line; thence
southeasterly along said southwesterly line to the
point of beginning,
is rezoned from A-1 to R-3.
Section 2. That the zoning map adopted by Section
9100.104 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code and designated as
Section 9100.2 of said Code is amended as shown by the following
map:

As of 2-14-62 Zoning is withdrawn. Property application under
Zone Exception, New precise plan to be submitted. Upon approval
of precise plan Resolution to be drawn and adopted.
