AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 2302 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
PROVIDING HEALTH AND WELFARE INSURANCE
FOR ELECTED OFFICERS, MEMBERS OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND DIRECTOR OF
CIVIL DEFENSE
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
ORDAIN as follows:
Section l. Section 2302 of Chapter 3, Article II
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is amended to read as
follows:
2302. Health and Welfare Insurance. The City
shall pay toward the premium of elected
officers, members of the Planning Com-
mission and Director of Civil Defense
who desire to participate in a health
and welfare plan adopted by the City,
the same sum paid on behalf of other
officers and employees of the City.
Health and welfare plan, as used in this
section, includes any one or more of the
following: hospital, medical, surgical,
disability or related benefits, and group
life insurance.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published
as required by law. This ordinance shall become effective
thirty days after the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk this 4th day of June 1962.
