HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 223ORD 223ê79wV ×Pî ORDINANCE NO 223 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO CHANGE THE ZONING OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT 1603-09 VINELAND AVENUE, BALDWIN PARK, FROM R-3 to C-3. ZONE CASE NO. Z-119. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does Ordain as follows: r r Section 1. That the following described real property situated at 1603-09 Vineland Avenue, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, namely, that portion described as follows: That portion of lot 29, of El Monte Walnut Place, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 6 Page 104 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows: Beginning at the most southerly corner of saidlot; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said lot, a distance of 129 feet; thence north 410 16' 42" East parallel with the southeasterly line of said lot to the northeasterly line of the south- westerly 20 feet of said lot, and the true point of beginning for this description; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line of the southwesterly 20 feet of said lot a distance of 65.34 feet to a line that is parallel with the southerly line of Garvey Boulevard, as described in deed recorded in book 11646 page 134, Official Records, records of said county, and distant 148 feet southeasterly at right angles therefrom; thence north 800 50' 18" East along said last mentioned parallel line 102.60 feet; to a line that is parallel with said south- easterly line of said lot, that passes through the true point of beginning; thence south 410 16' 42" West along said parallel line a distance of 79.10 feet to the point of beginning. That portion of Lot 29 of El Monte Walnut Place as per map recorded in Book 6 Page 104 of Maps in the office of the county recorder of said County. Beginning at a point in the southeasterly line of said lot distant North 410 32' 55" East thereon 20.00 feet from the most southerly corner of said lot, thence along said southeasterly line North 410 32' 55" East 40.87 feet; thence at right angles to said south- easterly line North 480 27' 05" West 129.00 feet; thence parallel with said southeasterly line South 410 32' 55" West 40.87 feet, more or less to the Northeasterly line of the Southwesterly 20.00 feet of said lot; thence along said northwesterly line South 480 27' 30" East 129.00 feet to the point of beginning. FIRST C f 1-SECOND i ORD 223ê79wV ×Pî That portion of Lot 29 of El Monte Walnut Place, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 6 Page 104 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the southeasterly line of said lot distant North 410 32' 55" East thereon 60.87 feet from the most southerly corner of said lot; thence along said southeasterly line North 410 32' 55" East 50.00 feet; thence at right angles from said southeasterly line North 480 27' 05" West a distance of 129.00 feet; thence parallel with said southeasterly line South 410 32' 55" West 50.00 feet to a line that bears North 480 27' 05" West and passes through the point of beginning; thence South 480 27' 05" East 129.00 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom that portion of said land lying northerly of a line that is parallel with and distant 198.00 feet southerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Garvey Avenue formerly Arroyo Avenue 100.00 feet wide, as shown on County Surveyor's Map No. B-159 on file in the office of said County Surveyor, is rezoned from R-3 to C-3.
