AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 5109 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PUBLIC
HEALTH
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does ordain as follows:
Section l. Section 5109 of Article V of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
5109. It is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Baldwin Park to establish regulations
or standards which will prove reasonable health
standards, and to provide for general control of
conditions constituting hazards or dangers to health
and life, and for the abatement of these conditions
through the entire City. It is hereby declared and
established that compliance with the Los Angeles
County Health Code, Ordinance No. 7583, and all
amendments thereto, and all other ordinances of Los
Angeles County pertaining to health, regulation
thereof, and the abatement of the same, is prima
facie evidence of such reasonable health standards,
and is also prima facie evidence of reasonable
methods to be used, procedures to be followed, laws,
rules, and regulations to be enforced in respect to
the same where not in conflict with any City ordinance
on the same subject. The foregoing codes and ordi-
nances and all amendments t.ereto are hereby incorpo-
rated by reference and made a part hereof as the
Health Code of the City of Baldwin Park as though set
forth in full herein, where not in conflict with any
City ordinance on the same subject.
Section 2. Except as hereinabove amended the
Municipal Code shall remain the same and in full force and
effect.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published
or posted as required by law. This ordinance shall become
effective thirty days after the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk this I day of October_,
1962.
