AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 5109.0F THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE, ADOPTING THE PUBLIC
HEALTH CODE", OF THE,COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 7583
OF SAID COUNTY, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE
ADOPTING A HEALTH CODE"
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does ordain as
followsi
Section 1. That Section 5109 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
5109. Adoption of Public Health Code of the County of Los
An go le
a). Adoption. The Public Health Code of the County of Los
Angeles, be ng-Ord7nance No. 7583 as amended to March 6, 1963, of
said County, is hereby adopted as the Public Health Code for the
City of Baldwin Park, hereafter Health Code". Three 3) copies
of said Health Code are on file in the Office of.the City Clerk
of the City of Baldwin Park.
b) Definitions. Whenever said Health Code uses the
following words or phrases, they, respectively, shall means
1) County" or County of Los Angeles", the City of
Baidwin.Park;
2) Health Officer" or County Health Officer", the Health
Officer of the City of Baldwin Park;
3) Person", as defined in Section 1314 of this Code.
c) Penalty. violation of any provision of the Health Code
shall be pu'n's-'able by a fine of not more than $500.00, or by
imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than six 6) months,
or both. Each day during any portion of which any violation of
any provision of the said Health Code" Is committed,or permitted
shall be deemed a separate.offense.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall post or publish this
ordinance as required by law.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk this 3 day of April
1963.
