AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 4243 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO BILLIARD
AND POOL FACILITIES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLONS:
Section 1. That section 4243 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
4243. BILLIARD AND POOL FACILITIES.
a) Hours of On ration No person shall operate,
maintain, or use any billiard or pool table in any
place between the hours of 2:00 o'clock a.m. and
6:00 o'clock a.m. of any day.
b) Minors. No person under the age of eighteen 18)
years shall be permitted to enter or rema.i~n in a public
billiard or pool hall within the City, nor shall any
such person engage or participate in any game of pool
or billiards in any other places, provided, that in
pool or billiard halls where alcoholic beverages
are not served, persons between the ages of sixteen
16) and eighteen 18) years shall be permitted, if
accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult
person having custody over him, or the written con-
sent of his parent or guardian is on file with the
proprietor, owner or operator of such establishment,
and provided further that persons under sixteen 16)
may be permitted therein if accompanied by his parent.
Such written consent shall be made in the presence
of the owner, proprietor or operator, and shall be
made available for inspection by any Police Officer dur-
ing regular business hours.
It shall be unlawful for any owner, proprietor or
operator of such establishment of allow any minor
person to enter, visit or remain therein in viola-
tion of this section.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the sane to be posted
in a manner as prescribed by taw.
