ORDINANCE NO. 359
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF: BALDWIN PARK ADDING
SECTION 4509.11 TO THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO POLICE
DOGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 4509.11 is hereby added to the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code as follows:
4509.11. Prohibited Conduct, It shall be unlawful for
any person to willfully or maliciously torture, tease,
torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable,
or kill any dog used by the Police Department of the City
of Baldwin Park in the performance of the functions or
duties of such d•partmertt, or to unwarrantably interfere
with or meddle with any such dog while being used by
said department or any officer or member thereof in the
performance of any of the functions or duties of such
department or of such officer or member."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause the same to be posted in the manner pre-
scribed by law.
