AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, AMENDING SECTIONS
4172, 4176 AND 4184 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE IMPOUNDING
OF ANIMALS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That subparagraph d) of Section 4172, and
Sections 4176 and 4184 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, are
hereby amended to read as follows:
d) For taking up and impounding any cat, Two $2.00)
Dollars, and for feeding and caring for such cat,
Twenty-five $.25) Cents for each day or fraction
thereof during which such cat is kept in such
pound except, the daX on which it is impounded,
shall be collected.'
4176. Not less than five days after the taking and
impounding of any dog as herein provided, unless
it be sooner redeemed, such person or association
in charge of any such pound shall destroy such
dog or shall dispose of such dog to any person who
will pay the reasonable value of such dog, in no
case less than Eight $8.00) Dollars if the dog
has been vaccinated at County expense by the
Livestock Inspector, otherwise Four Dollars and
Fifty Cents $4.50), and who will procure and pay
for the required license for such dog for the
current year unless such a license is already
issued and in full force and effect."
4184. For taking up and impounding any dog, Four
Dollars and Fifty Cents $4.50); for feeding and
caring for any such dog, Fifty $.50) Cents for
each day or fraction thereof during which such
dog is kept in such pound except the day on
which it is impounded, shall be collected."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause the same to be posted in the manner
prescribed by law.
