AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION 3100 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, IN ORDER TO ADOPT
BY REFERENCE THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE OF THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES", AID REPEALING SECTIONS
3100.1 TO 3100.6 INCLUSIVE OF SAID CODE,
RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That Section 3100 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
3100• Adoption of Fire Prevention Code of the
County of Los Angeles".
a) Adoption. The Fire Prevention Code of the
County of Los Angeles", the same being Ordinance
No. 2944'] as amended to January 5, 1964, except
Article 12 thereof, consisting of Sections 12.01
to 12.06, Inclusive, Is hereby adopted as the
public fire prevention code for the City of
Baldwin Park hereafter referred to as Fire Code".
Three copies of the said Fire Code are on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of
410 Baldwin Park.
b) Pen_ alb. Violation of any provision of the
Fire Code shall be punishable by a fine of not
more than $500.00 or by imprisonment In the
County Jail for not more than six months or
both. Each day during any portion of which
any violation of any provision of the said
Fire Code is committed or permitted, shall
be deemed to be a separate offense."
SECTION 2. That Sections 3100.1 through 3100.6 inclusive,
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code are hereby repealed and rescinded.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
