AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION
5100 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE PUBLIC HEALTH CODE
OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES", AND REPEALING
SECTIONS 5101 THROUGH 5142 INCLUSIVE OF
SAID CODE, RELATING TO SANITATION AND
HEALTH,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 5100 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
5100. Adoption of Public Health Code of
the County of Los Angeles".
a) Adotion. The Public Health Code of
the County of Los Angeles", the same being Ordinance
No. 7583, of the said County, as amended to July
1, 1964, is hereby adopted as the public health code
for the City of Baldwin Park hereafter referred to as
as Health Code"-). Three copies of the said Health
Code avt on ftle in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Baldwin Park.
b) fin)tigns. Wherever said Health Code uses
the following words or phrases, they, respectively,
shall be:
1) County" or County of Los Angeles",
the City of Baldwin Park; and
2) Health Officer" or County Health
Officer" the Health Officer of the City of
Baldwin Park; and
3) Person" as defined in Section 1314
of this Code.
c) Penalty. Violation of any provision of the
Health Code shall be punishable by a fine of not more
than $500.00, or by imprisonment in the County Jail
for not more than six months, or both. Each day
during any portion of which any violation of any pro-
vision of the said Health Code is committed or
permitted, shall be deemed to be a separate offense."
SECTION 2. That Sections 5101 through 5142 inclusive,
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code are hereby repealed and rescinded.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
