AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CIT" OF BALDWIN PARK ADDING SECTION 2909
TO THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO THE POSITION OF CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2909 is hereby added to the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, which shall read as follows:
Section 2909. Appointment of Acting Chief
Administrative Officer. In the absence of the Chief
Administrative Officer for any reason the City Clerk,
Thelma L. Balkus, shall be designated as the Acting
Chief Administrative Officer, and if she is unable or
unwilling to perform the duties of this office, the
City Engineer, Dwight French, shall perform the same
functions."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.

I, THELMA L. BALKUS, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin
Park, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 395 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 6th day of January, 1965. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 20th
day of anuary 1965, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN ADAIR, GREGORY, CRITES, MCCARON AND MAYOR MOREHEAD
NOES: COUNCI LMEN NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN NONE
