AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION 5580 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
SPECIAL SPEED ZONES,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION I. That Section 5580 of the Baldwin Park Munlcipa
Code, relating to Special Speed Zones, is hereby amended to reed as
to I lows;
558°* increasing State Speed Limit in Certain Zones>
It is hereby determined upon the basts of an engineering and
traffic investigation that speed permitted by State Law upon
the following streets Is less than fs necessary for safe
operation of vehicles thereon by reason of the designation
and sign-posting of said streets as through highways and or)
by reason of widely spaced Intersections, and ft ts hereby
declared that the prtma fade speed limit shaN be as here-
inafter set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein
designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof:
