AN ORDINANCE OF THF CITY COUNC(L OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK AMENDING SECTION 2500.1 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, AND RE-
PEALING SECTION 2500.2 OF SAID CODE
RELATING TO SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I, That Section 2500.2 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code Is hereby repealed and rescinded.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 56514 of the
Government Code of the State of California, Section 2500.1 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
2500.1. CounciI Salaries. Commencing on and after
April 19, 1966, the monthly salary for each member
of the City Council of this City shall be in the
amounts set forth in Section 56514 of the Government
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall not take effect
untiI Apri1 19, 1966.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published in the
manner prescribed by law.
