AN ORDINANCE OP THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OP BALDWIN PAW RE-
ZONING CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED
REAL PROPERTY CASE NO. Z-286;
CITY INITIATED).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CP BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That the Planning Commission of said City has here-
tofore initiated a reclaasificatIon study of certain real
property located within the City of Baldwin Park, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly des-
cribed In Planning Commission Resolution No. PC-66-7; and
b) That the Planning Commission has recomnended that
the said real property, above described, be rezoned from
R-2 to Zone M-R; and
c) That the City Council has conducted a duly noticed
public hearing upon said matter and has determined that the
property affected be rezoned in part, and that the proposed
reclassifleaf ion be denied as to the remaining property in
the manner hereinafter described,
SECTION 2, That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9451 of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, that certain real property located in
said City, more particularly described that portion of Lot I of Tract
NO. t9l7, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 18 of Tract
No. 14713, thence northerly along the westerly line of said
Lot 18, 100.66 plus or minus feet, to a line parallel with
Joanbridge Street, as shown on said Tract No. 14713; thence
westerly along said last mentioned parallel line to the east
line of Sierra Madre Avenue; thence southerly along said
last mentioned line to the northerly line of Joanbridge
Street as the same existed on A'\arch 2, 1966; thence easterly
along said last mentioned northerly line and its easterly
prolongation to the point of beginning;
be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from Zone R-2 to Zone A^-R, That the
public interest, convenience and necessity does not require the rezoning
of certain other properties Included In the above mentioned proceeding,
namely. Lots li through 18, inclusive, of Tract No, 14713, and for that
reason, that portion of the Planning Commission's recorrmendat ion be,
and the same hereby is, disapproved,
SECTION 5. That the Director of Planning shall amend the Zoning
f'Aap of the City of Baldwin Park" to reflect the change hereinabove
described.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed
by law.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 450 was regularly
