AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADDING
SECTION 9522 TO THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
REGULATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9522 is hereby added to
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, relating to zoning regulations.
which shall read as follows:
9522. Non-conforming Status, Public Usage.
Whenever any lawful\y created and conforming lot,
or a conforming bui Iding or structure, is
rendered nonconforming solely by reason of a
reduction of a required yard area, lot area or
off-street parking facilities, occurring solely
by reason of:
1. dedication to, or purchase by, the City
for any publ ic purpose; or
2. by eminent domain proceedings,
which results in the acquisition by the City of a
portion of such property, to that extent, the same
shal\ not be deemed nonconforming within the mean-
ing of Part VIII hereof."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
