AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADDING
SECTION 9248 TO THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO SUB-
DIVISION REGULATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9248 is hereby added to
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to read as follows:
9248. PRELIMINARY SOILS REPORT, A
preliminary soils report prepared by a
registered civil engineer, based upon adequate
tests, borings or excavations, shall be filed
with each tentative subdivision map. Such
report shall be prepared and submitted in
accordance with good engineering practices.
The City Engineer shall waive the requirement
of such report if he finds that the soil
qualities of the soil of the subdivision are
such that no preliminary soils report
analysis is necessary."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption hereof and cause the same to be published in the
manner prescribed by law.
