AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADDING SECTION 9555
TO THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO THE ZONING REGULATIONS
APPLICABLE TO R-l ZONES WITHIN THE CITY.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9555 is hereby added +o the Baldwin
Park Municipal Code, +o read as follows:
9555. Applicability of Regulations. Notwithstanding the
provisions of Sections 9551 through 9555,inciusi ve hereof, as adopted
and amended by Ordinance No. 463:
1. Said regulations as therein contained, shall not be
applied, so as to render nonconforming, the following:
a. Any lot upon which a single family dwelling unit,
including accessory uses Is located, which was in existence
as of October 19, 1966, and which conformed to the former
provisions of Sections 9551 through 9554, inclusive, of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, as the same were in effect on
October 19, 1966; and
b. Any property included in a tentative tract map
which received approval prior +o the 19th day of October,
966, provided that if a final subdivision map relating
to such tentative tract map is not filed and recorded
within the time permitted by law, this subparagraph shall
have no further effect upon such property); and
c. Any lot in any subdivision which was included in
a final tract map recorded prior to October 19, 1966.
2. Said regulations as therein contained shall not be
applied, so as to prevent, with reference to any of the property
described in subparagraph I hereof, construction of any butIding
or structure, or the extension, expansion, reconstruction or
remodeling hereafter work") of any building or structure which
would have been permitted pursuant to, and by virtue of, the
provisions of Sections 9551 through 9554, inclusive, of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code as the same were in effect on
October 19, 1966; provided that any such new construction and/or
work shall be accomplished in compliance with the said provisions
of Sections 9551 through 9554, inclusive, of said Code, as the
same were in effect on October 19, 1966.

Said Sections 9551 through 9554, inclusive, of said Code,
as the same were in effect on October 19, 1966, for the purpose
of this Section, are incorporated herein by this reference as
if set forth in ful1."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed
by law.
